Candle Giveaway!

Johnna sporting a crocheted beanie hat I made from the LYNN pattern that I purchased from http://www.crazysockscrochet.com/ . This picture was taken as she awoke from a nap so she wasn't very excited. Still... super cute, huh?!

This week I’ll be giving away an 8 ounce candle in your choice of scent!
They are a new product that I will carry upon my return. They come in cute little jar with a gold lid. Sorry, no picture at this time…
It will be the last giveaway for awhile since I will be having more surgery next week. L But the fun will continue just as soon as I’ve recovered!

To enter this week’s giveaway just comment below telling me what your favorite cheap and easy dinner meal is!

And since I didn’t have time yesterday I will now post this week’s menu.

This week’s menu:
Sunday – tomato, clam and rice soup
Monday – leftover soup and sandwich
Tuesday – shake and baked pork chops, mac and cheese and veggie
Wednesday – grilled chicken fajitas and rice with pinto beans
Thursday – sausage, potato, pepper and green bean skillet
Friday – ffy
Saturday – ffy

I’m so thankful for my new handicapped parking pass. It makes getting in and out of places so much easier and much less draining.

Johnna looks great in her new hat... I'm not sure what it has to do with the giveaway, but I'm not complaining about the shout-out. ;)

My favorite quickie meal is Salsa Chicken... chicken breasts covered in salsa in the crock pot. Cook them all day. Then you shred or chunk them & use them for tacos or burritos. Yummmm.

we like mac n cheese casserole around here. Just a box of mac n cheese, then stir in tuna and peas. Num!

Crazysocks has awesome patterns- if I only I could figure out how to crochet. Guess that's why she has the pre-made items for sale as well. :-P Johanna is super cute all the time- even when she just woke up. Glad the new parking pass is making your life easier, but sorry to hear you're still needing more surgery. Bleh.

My favorite is Quick BBQ Beef Bake:
1 lb ground beef
3/4 c chopped onion
1 bottle 8oz BBQ sauce
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
2 c Bisquick
1 c milk
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 400. Brown beef and 1/2 c of the onion in a skillet. Drain beef, then add BBQ sauce. Spoon into ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish; sprinkle with cheese. In bowl, mix baking mix, eggs, and milk until blended. Pour over beef mixture. Sprinkle with remaining onion. Bake 25-27 minutes or until crust is light golden brown.

Serves 8-10

This won't sound the best but it's delicious...Ground beef, mashed potatos and plantains!

Put the plantains on the bottom of a bowl then layer the ground beef topped with mashed potatos. YUMMY!!!!!

Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy surgery/recovery! ((HUGS))
