It’s snowing…

Again!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Will it ever stop?!
I think I have cabin fever.
The walls are closing in.
*gasp*

I have fresh rolls rising and I’m going to start making some homemade chicken soup at naptime. Curling up in my flannels sheets and sleeping until spring comes sounds really good today.

I should be focusing on writing the listings for the new Etsy shop. Gah!
It’s not even sunny enough to take pictures of any of the glass I have done.
It can only get warmer, right? Right?!

I have contacted by first artist to feature on my blog. She was super excited! Can’t wait to see all of her answers to the eleven lucky questions I sent her. She is cool and so is her work! Interview should be posted by next Monday!

Okay back to cleaning off my desk.

Today is Joey’s 14th birthday!

Happy birthday baby! He gave me so much trouble coming into this world. He was so tiny and hooked up to monitors. I’m just so thankful he is a happy, healthy kid today. He requested hamburgers and tater tots for his birthday dinner and pumpkin crunch for his cake. Sounds good to me!

Over the weekend I joined an online artist’s swap. I’m super excited and already have planned what I’m going to make. And the other artists are not glass artists. Something different!
Besides that I need to get busy making my maglesses for this year’s glass exchange. I plan on ordering the glass today or tomorrow. Wooohooo!

We ordered our business cards for the new business we are launching on Etsy. They look great! Which reminds me, must order Moo cards for glass. There is just not enough time in the day.

They are saying we are going to get 4-6inches more snow tonight, which means there may not be school tomorrow. If this happens I will declare a pajama in protest. I’m so over winter. Bring spring on!

Well I best get to making that pumpkin crunch. The house is going to smell soooo good!

The Results

Now mind you, I can never get my hair to look as good as my hairdresser.
I like it! It’s cute and feels much healthier. I think I want my bangs to grow out though.

After I had my hair done I went over to the drugstore and bought myself some new lip gloss and eye shadow. It was my birthday after all.

I returned home to find a beautiful cake decorated by John and the kids with mini M&M's and presents! Love the cake! My mom and Becca got me some cool socks, gardening shoes, bath bombs and fizzies and a beautiful pair of tri-color gold hoop earrings.
John says my gift is in the mail. I thought my gift was my expensive trip to the hair salon but I guess I get more! Can’t wait to see!

The logo for our new company is done and it turned out beautifully. Today it’s sunny so I new to photograph said logo and work on our banner. We plan on launching our new Etsy store March 1st. Are you as excited as I am?!

I’ve added a mini of my favorites to my blog. This is a list of some of my favorite things on Etsy that isn’t glass related. Check it out! And if you feel compelled to buy them for me, go ahead! LOL!

Well back to work for me. Cya soon!

29 Again!

Yep, I’ve survived another year.
Or everyone has survived me. LOL!
I awoke to Tim Horton’s Mocha coffee and donuts.
I’m sorry people, but I truly think I have the best husband on this planet. He is the love of my life and super cute to boot!
Joshua stayed home and helped me with the little ones so I could shower.
I have the kiln loaded with the logo of our new company. It will be done tomorrow morning.
I have a wonderful beef and vege soup in the crockpot.
My friend Jen surprised me by sewing me an oilcloth apron. It arrived in the mail yesterday. Made my day!
My kids are happy and healthy.
Life is good.
For my birthday I am getting my hair cut. The appointment is at 5:30 pm.
I’m going for change.
Tune in tomorrow for the results.

Cuts a Plenty

I don’t recommend going gung-ho on glass projects when you’re sick and feeling like even the sharp shards of glass would be a nice place to curl up and go to sleep. I have multiple cuts, stabs and puncture marks. The tremendous blood loss is my own fault. I should have stopped after the first 5 injuries.

John and I have started a new business. Now we just have to finish our products.
We are hoping to be ready to launch our new venture on March 1st.
We are very excited!
Stay tuned for that!

We have worked really hard and can not wait to show everyone!
Everyone has been helping in some way. Jake and Johnna cheer us on from the sidelines (gate). Or cry for us to hurry up and finish. LOL!

Tomorrow is Valentines Day. I am making a very special dinner. I can’t tell you what it is until tomorrow but I can tell you that it’s all GREEK to me. Ha!

I already have dinner done for tonight, a simple hamburger and potato crockpot recipe.
It will be hot and ready when John and gets home. YUM!
